MARLE GROUP, a leading global medical device contract manufacturer, has acquired a majority stake in Ohio based TANGIBLE SOLUTIONS, alongside its founders who remain CEO and COO. MARLE GROUP now has 8 production facilities globally that are exclusively focused on orthopedic and spine implant manufacturing for OEM’s worldwide.
TANGIBLE SOLUTIONS is specialized in engineering, design and development, and production of 3D printed titanium implants, for the orthopedic, spine, and trauma markets. The Fairborn, Ohio, facility serves several dozen customers and produces more than 40 FDA-approved medical devices with another 20-plus in the works.
With more than 2 million implants manufactured annually, MARLE GROUP is a strategic and reliable long-term partner to OEMs all over the world, offering end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, from forging and casting through machining, polishing, coating and packaging services, allowing the company to offer complete solutions to its clients for orthopedic, spine and trauma implants.
The acquisition of TANGIBLE SOLUTIONS expands MARLE GROUP’s contract manufacturing offering with the addition of another world class additive manufacturing facility located in the USA. This transaction strengthens MARLE GROUP’s 3D additive manufacturing expertise in research and innovation in combination with MARLE 3D MEDLAB, but also product development and prototyping, specifically for spine and extremities.
Antonio Gil, President and Heimo Wabusseg, CEO, MARLE GROUP said: “We are extremely excited about this strategic acquisition that underscores our commitment and focus on our MARLE AMERICA’s customers. Frank D. Noone, Vice President, MARLE AMERICA added: “Having TANGIBLE SOLUTIONS onboard represents an exciting opportunity for MARLE GROUP given the clear alignment of mission, goals and culture between our two innovative organizations.
